My Favorite Teachings from the Bible

“Ask and it shall be given unto you. Seek and you shall find. Know and the door shall be opened unto you.”

“Perfect love casts out fear.”

“Be cheerful for I have overcome the world.”

“He that believeth on me, the works that I do he shall do also; and greater works shall he do.”

“Store up treasures in Heaven…for your treasures are, there your heart will also be.”

“Seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Hallelujah! All we have to do is ask and receive. How simple and wonderful!

Of course, our asking and receiving is most effective when we are aligned with the will of God, which is the Perfect Love.

When we ask with Perfect Love, we are seeking first the Kingdom of God, and surely we shall receive abundantly 🙂

Meanwhile, we realize that the very best things in life were given to us for free. The mind, body, heart, all that goodness, is free! Hence, the treasures are in Heaven. Care for the mind, care for the body, care for all the free gifts and cherish them. “A good man can lose his fortune and make a new one in no time at all.” When our treasures are in Heaven, in the heart and in the mind, the material world becomes a playground, and no moth or rust can destroy our treasures, nor can thieves break in and steal. For our treasures are in Heaven!

So we are commanded to be cheerful! For why not? We have our treasures in Heaven, and Jesus serves as an example for our ability to accomplish miracles, and he then tells us that we can also do this and even more! He has overcome the world, and so can we. It’s just a matter of remembering that we can choose love, and perfect love casts out fear, and remembering to store up our treasures in Heaven, not on earth. So many reasons to be cheerful 🙂
