Whatever you do, do it for fun, with joy!

So simple…so simple…ahh so easy to say yet possibly a bit more challenging to practice. Such is life.

The simple truths…the simplest of simple…it’s so simple!

Supposedly, you can latch onto any one single simple truth and hold to it at all times and it will take you all the way home to the greatest realization. It doesn’t matter what simple truth you choose, they all lead to the same place. Home! To God we go 🙂

Unfortunately? it’s tough for us human beings and our monkey minds to commit to a single idea and decide to practice it 24/7/365/Lifetime. Thankfully, all we really ever have is the moment, so perhaps we can simply choose to practice it for this moment, and that will be enough 🙂

Some simple truths that i’ve found very powerful, however challenging to practice:
–> Love thy neighbor as thyself. Unconditional love to everything!
–> Be Here Now. Live in Reality.
–> Breathe, smile, and go slowly.
–> Renounce and enjoy.
–> Do it with joy or not at all.
–> Become zero.
–> Give thanks in all circumstances.
–> Pray without ceasing.
–> Ask and you shall receive.
–> Think and grow rich.
–> Evolve!
–> All you will ever need for fulfillment in life is awareness. Awareness!
–> Let go. Detach.
–> Surrender.
–> Not my will, but Thy will be done. Thy will be done!
–> Forgive always.
–> Live in Oneness with All. See the Self in All.
–> Never delay gratitude.
–> Know nothing.
–> “Inquire, “Who am I?” know the Self and be free!”
–> Adapt, adjust, accommodate.
–> Desirelessness is perfect bliss.
–> Perfect love casts out fear.
–> Serve, serve, serve. Go-give!
–> Listen.
–> Relax.
–> Feel good!
–> Let it be.
–> The most important relationship in your life is the one you have with the Present Moment. Become friendly with the Present Moment. Welcome all of it…Love your Moment!
–> God is Good. All is good. Praise God! Hallelujah 🙂
–> Practice kindness towards all, seen and unseen, animate and inanimate. Care for all.
–> Become more conscious and aware. Raise consciousness and awareness!
–> Realize Heaven. Infinite Goodness…
–> “Every one of them is Jesus in disguise…”
–> “God is guest.”
–> Dream! Embrace subjective reality. Choose the world you want to live in. Dream wonderfully, beautifully, divinely 🙂
–> Shift away from thinking, “What’s in it for me?” and instead think, “How can I serve? What’s the most I can do, here and now?”
–> Trust the generous impulse and the desire to do good.
–> Do good. Be good. Love all. Serve all.
–> Detach the mind from the body, attach it to the Lord!
–> Simplify.
–> Purify.
–> Focus on the good. See the good in all. Realize God.

And perhaps the gem of all simple wisdom, from Sivananda, from his pamphlet on how to overcome anger. Simple put, something like…

“See God in everything. That way, you cannot get angry.”

Thanks Sivananda 🙂

Victory to you, beautiful divine expression in this Wonderful Moment.

Infinite Love, Infinite Compassion, and Infinite Gratitude,

Praise God!

  1. And i’d like to add…

“Seek first the Kingdom of God”

    and also…

    “Make each day your masterpiece.”

and according to Mother Eagle, who i just asked what her motto for life would be…

“Live each day in gratitude for that day. Appreciate each moment of your life for the gift that it is. It is a gift and it can be taken away at any time…”

    Ahh, so wise 🙂

    Which reminds me…

    “Take nothing for granted!”

And if you take food for granted, maybe a good old fast will help you appreciate it, cherish it, and be profoundly grateful for it next time. Sometimes voluntarily depriving ourselves of something can really help us ‘stop taking it for granted’ and begin to realize the sacred gift that it is.

Take nothing for granted! Cherish what is.
